Start on a positive note and take the first step by completing our application.Position Overview:The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting operations and safety teams through the development, maintenance, and management of training curriculum, tools, and training resources. This position has a driver-centric focus, as it works with internal teams to support and advance the Company’s driver training program, operational standards, and safety/compliance standardsPosition Responsibilities:Maintenance of all compliance documentation required by local, state, and federal agenciesAudit and reconcile all required documentation, such as: Driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR), Driver hour of service logs from electronic logging devices, and vehicle gateways/tracking devices.Review completion, compliance, accuracy of documentation collected, and work closely with drivers to make corrections as neededCross-examine logs with GPS recordsWhen needed, assist in running safety reports for the purpose of tracking trends relevant to existing and ongoing safety and compliance standardsAssist when needed to help keep safety and compliance folders and files organized and up to dateEnroll new driver hires in required programs such as Samba, Drug & Alcohol, Samsara, and A-SuiteCoordinate, facilitate, and assist with record inspections for any CHP terminal inspections, DOT and/or DOD inspectionsInterface with regulatory agencies to formulate corrective actionsConduct documented training with the driver workforce who fail to comply with company policies and practices as it pertains to proper completion of all regulatory documentation and safety practicesWork in conjunction with the Safety and Operations department on accident/incident investigationsPerform duties and other functions that help streamline the daily business operations of the Company’s safety operations.Requirements:Clean Driving RecordValid Class C Driver’s License RequiredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to speak, read, and write in EnglishAble and willing to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's LicenseSchedule:Monday through FridayMust be able to work weekends as neededWork hours will varySalary Rate:The hourly range that Sun Diego Charter expects to pay for the position is $25.00-$30.00 an hour.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & ADD Insurance, Voluntary Accident Coverage, Critical Care, EAP, and Legal Shield (Kaiser HMO and PPO Available)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Sick Leave (PSL)401K retirement plan w/company matchingEmployer-sponsored Childcare – Includes free resource and referral services and personalized support through TOOTRiSPaid HolidaysFor more information call 714-678-1862 Apply online at https://jobs.sundiegocharter.com/app/openingsEEO StatementAt Sun Diego Charter, we value a diverse, inclusive workforce and provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
