Duties
- Safely operate spray equipment, including hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and specialized sprayers to treat turf, plants, and soil.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals accurately according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes or agricultural plots to identify pest issues or nutrient deficiencies requiring treatment.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments applied, chemicals used, weather conditions, and treatment locations for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Assist with general landscaping tasks such as trimming, mowing, planting, and soil preparation to support overall site health.
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to plan treatment schedules and ensure efficient coverage of assigned properties or fields.
Skills
- Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping with a strong understanding of agricultural practices.
- Knowledge of pest management techniques and the proper use of pesticides and herbicides.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as sprayers, shovels, rakes, along with power tools like trimmers or blowers.
- Strong attention to detail for precise chemical application.
