The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role in our preconstruction and bidding efforts. This position is ideal for a detail-driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and well-analyzed estimates.
You’ll bring strong digital takeoff skills, a deep understanding of construction estimating, and the ability to evaluate subcontractor bids and complex project documents with confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Perform accurate digital on-screen takeoffs and quantity surveys
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for new construction and renovation projects
- Review, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, owner requirements, and regulatory criteria
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain historical cost data to support future estimates and early-stage concept budgets
- Assist with project budgets, RFP packages, and preconstruction presentations
What You Bring
Required Experience & Skills
- 8–10 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong proficiency with digital takeoff and estimating tools (Bluebeam, OST, or similar)
- Excellent ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proven success supporting competitive bids and accurate estimates
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfort working directly with clients and project stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- General Contractor experience
- Affordable housing project experience
- Renovation estimating experience
