Job Summary:
The Night Street Selector accurately selects products in the warehouse and prepare them for shipping. Weekly pay depends on how effectively you pick! Top performers can earn $$!!
The job will include, but not be limited to:
- Safely and accurately fill and build customer orders using pick lists of assorted items
- Efficiently deliver merchandise to correct dock area, stack, and shrink wrap items on pallets according to driver stops (customer locations) for next day delivery
- General warehouse maintenance and clean-up
- Conducts trailer inspection before loading to ensure cleanliness and appropriate temperature for loading
- Verifies header labels on all pallets and checks for damaged or outdated product before loading
- Meet or exceed minimum established efficiency levels
- Follow health and safety policies and quality control standards
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous selector and pallet jack experience required
- Must be able to read alpha and numeric codes from pick sheets and slots.
- Minimum six months experience with warehouse material handling equipment (electric pallet jack or high low) preferred
- Must be able to work overnight hours
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Work to be performed in a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders, usage of pallet jacks
