JOB TITLE: Driver Tank OOT
LOCATION: Midland, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Tank Manager
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position and location
SCHEDULE: Days Schedule TBD. Some overtime and weekends to be expected; must be able to travel overnight Driver-Tank- Out of Town (OOT)
Driver must be able to work Nights & work out of town on a 3 week rotation schedule or a 6 week rotation schedule. This position requires drivers to travel out of town for three weeks with one-week home time or Sixweeks with two-week home time. Accommodation is provided for out-of-town travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
- Safely secure and deliver storage tanks, equipment or bulk packaged product to various customer or terminal locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
- Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
- Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
- Other related tasks as assigned by manager
- Minimum age 23
- Valid class A license with hazmat/tanker endorsements
- Must have at least 1 -year minimum tractor trailer experience
- Must be able to drive a 18 speed
- Must be able to load, unload, strap, or chain down equipment
- Must be able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal
- Must meet all DOT and FMSCA requirements for commercial drivers
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek-overnight and/or out of town travel may be required
- Stable employment history
- May be required to lift objects weighing 50 pounds
- Some mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to read, speak, write and communicate using the English language well enough to perform the job functions
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and for 12 to 18hours a day
- Must be able to use three points of access getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day
- Must be able to climb up steps to verify tank compartments as needed
- Must be able to work safely in uneven or muddy surfaces
- Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience using a roll-off trailer preferred
- Experience with Land Doll Trailer
- Experience operating a Fork Lift
