Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and kitchen equipment in residential or commercial settings with precision and care
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC & appliance issues, utilizing mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, parts, or equipment to job sites
- Read schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify issues and execute repairs effectively
- Provide outstanding customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair
- Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) supplies and procedures
