Job Description:
Perform a variety of tasks related with the general maintenance of all buildings, room set-ups including audio visual for the Association.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides custodial services for all facilities, to include both indoor and outdoor facilities of the Association, golf club house (proshop, restrooms, dining room/bar area, Sierra Pines Deli, proshop and meetings rooms)
2. Indoor custodial tasks include, but are not limited to: Vacuums, dust mop and wet mop floors (vinyl, carpet and wood) and spot wash walls. Clean and disinfect lavatories, shower/locker facilities and employee break rooms. Restock supplies. Dust and/or vacuum furniture. Arrange furniture in social spaces/lounge areas according to the approved schematic. Clean entrances and sweeps outside perimeter of the building. Collect and remove trash from trash receptacles and replace bag liners. Use the routine checklist to record tasks completed and to note any issues. Interacts appropriately with residents, guest and other employees. Follow all safety rules. Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisor on task execution.
3. Outdoor tasks include, but are not limited to: Pressure wash tennis courts Vacuum Bocce ball courts Empty all trash receptacles and replace bag liners. Clean water drinking fountains. Wash and spot clean outside furniture.
4. Performs project assignments on an as needed basis. (Typically these are non routine tasks) 5. Performs daily and routine cleaning and maintenance of inside and outside pools and spas.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Set-up and assist users with Audio Visual equipment. These include sound system, microphones, video screens, projectors, laptop computer using CD’s, DVD’s, power point presentations and internet. Other duties as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Constant outside exposure to wind, rain, cold and extreme heat and humidity. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to kneel, stoop, bend, push, pull, lift, carry and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 6 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. 6 months to 2 years previous custodial experience in a professional environment.

WORK HOURS and DAYS: Full -time Nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays will vary; 30 minute meal break if required; overtime as required.
Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour plus paid sick leave, 401k match, and more.
