Licensed Therapist – Community Based Services
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful, hands‑on work in the community. The Licensed Therapist delivers therapeutic services directly in client‑preferred environments, supporting individuals in improving functioning, developing coping skills, and achieving treatment goals.
Position Summary
The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing high‑quality, community‑based mental health and substance use services. This position requires the use of your personal vehicle to travel to client locations, which may include homes, residential settings, schools, and workplaces.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing individual therapy, group counseling, and behavioral interventions
- Conducting assessments and developing or updating treatment plans
- Offering supportive counseling and crisis‑responsive interventions
- Completing documentation, treatment plans, and case management tasks in accordance with state and agency requirements
- Supporting client recovery, stability, and long‑term progress through community‑based care
Qualifications
- Active licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent under the Georgia Professional Licensing Board
- Demonstrated experience delivering community‑based mental health services, including therapy, counseling, and behavioral interventions
- Strong therapeutic engagement skills with diverse populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and travel within the community
