Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide integrated substance use treatment to individuals with co‑occurring disorders
- Collaborate closely with ACT Team members to deliver rehabilitation, care management, and crisis support
- Apply knowledge of ACTT principles, addiction counseling techniques, and evidence‑based interventions
- Support recovery‑oriented, person‑centered care in community settings
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Licensure (North Carolina – Required)
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS)
- Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS or LCAS‑A)
- Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CDAC)
- Must meet QP status
Experience
- Minimum 1 year working with individuals with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Human services experience as a Substance Use Counselor
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to travel within the community
