IIH Qualified Professional – Mecklenburg County
Turning Point Family Services is seeking a Qualified Professional for an IIH team that covers Mecklenburg County, with Charlotte as the primary location. We have been providing mental health services for over 23 years in Iredell, Cabarrus, and Mecklenburg counties. We offer full benefits, paid time off, paid mileage at $0.56 per mile, and retention bonuses totaling $1,500 per year. This position starts as salary for the first 30 days to complete training and then transitions to a pay-per-contact model at $100 per contact (annualized $50K–$54K) with a minimum expectation of 10 contacts per week.
Position Summary
The IIH QP will be responsible for providing structured, therapeutic interventions (face-to-face, collateral, and telephone) to provide support and guidance across multiple functional domains including emotional, medical, and health.
Essential Job Duties
- Assist in timely coordination of paperwork for new clients and reauthorization of existing clients
- Participate in weekly team meetings and treatment planning tasks (including CFTs and PCP reviews)
- Ensure linkage and consultation with clinically appropriate services and resources
- Complete all mandatory documentation including session notes, treatment plans, authorization documentation, and NCTOPPS forms within required timeframes
- Assist with crisis interventions and serve on the on-call crisis rotation schedule

Qualifications:Requirements
- Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in the human services field
- Work Experience: Two years of experience with the population served OR bachelor’s degree in a non-human services field with four years of experience with the population served
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to ensure linkage and consultation with clinically appropriate services, stakeholders, natural supports, and resources to ensure positive client outcomes
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to assist with crisis interventions and serve on the on-call crisis rotation schedule
- Travel Requirements: Home and community-based travel required; some remote work may be available; must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance in good standing
Salary : $50,000 - $54,000
