Guidance Secretary - Alice Drive Middle

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a high school diploma; demonstrated competency with computers and computer programs and general office procedures, good communication skills a requirement; Strong organizational skills a must.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

SALARY RANGE: $18.09 - $28.93 HOURLY

JOB GOAL: To organize and work to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school guidance office.

Performance Responsibilities

• Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a productive and smoothly run office.
• Receives and routes all incoming calls; greets the public, assists with school concerns.
• Assists teachers in preparing special instructional materials as requested.
• Maintains student records.
• Maintains electronic records, performs system administration duties.
• Works with others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Performs all System Administrator duties (must have a strong knowledge in operating PowerSchool database).
  
  

TERMS: 205 days. Salary and work year to be established by the Superintendent.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of Classified Personnel.
