Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) - Day Shift | Full-Time

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation | York, AL

Base Pay: $27.05–$29.55 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | 12-Hour Shifts

Weekend Shift Differential: $3.00/hour for weekend shift hours

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our full-time day shift nursing team.

As an LPN, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, support CNAs, and help ensure our skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents receive quality, compassionate care.

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
