Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, assisting with our parts department, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, possess relevant driving experience, and be capable of handling physical tasks associated with warehouse work. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Manage inventory in the warehouse, including organizing, stocking, and retrieving items
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Assist with warehouse organization and cleanliness to promote a safe working environment
- Follow route plans efficiently, adjusting as needed for traffic or other delays
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients upon delivery
- Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, inventory management, and equipment operation
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is preferred
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and moving items safely within the warehouse or during deliveries
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving and warehouse operations
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
