We are currently seeking an experienced and talented repairman to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for repairing semi-trailers and box trucks.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Complete semi-trailer and box truck collision repair service work that you are assigned to (undercarriage, sheet and post).
- Inspect your work and ensure that the repair was done correctly.
- Communicate with the service manager, the sales team, and with other technicians regularly on basic day to day operations.
- Clean and maintain your work area.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of semi-trailers and the tools required to repair them.
- Strong attention to detail and for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
