Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their to-go orders, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
- Accurately take and process orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct
- Prepare and package food orders neatly and securely for pickup, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to coordinate order completion and resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and order status while practicing excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the to-go station, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest services and support overall restaurant operations
Skills
- Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, demonstrating strong guest relations skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing
- Experience in restaurant settings or hotel guest services is a plus, highlighting adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of hospitality principles including guest services, serving techniques, and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure
- Strong attention to detail to ensure orders are accurate and presented professionally
