Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or takeout orders.
• Accurately take guest orders using various POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, answer questions about ingredients or dietary options, and recommend popular dishes to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering positive interactions throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, tables, and dining areas to uphold health and safety standards.
• Handle phone inquiries professionally with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or takeout orders as needed.

Experience

• Prior experience as a host/host or server in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately.
• Experience in food service or hospitality roles that demonstrate your ability to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including guest relations, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices.
• Hotel experience or background in guest services is a plus but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced setting.
