What you’ll do
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Prepare and package food items for takeout, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, to process transactions smoothly.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout area to enhance the customer experience.
- Uphold exceptional communication skills while interacting with guests over the phone and in person.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience as a host/host or in hotel guest services is a plus.
- Background in serving or hospitality roles will be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
