Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Prepare and package to-go orders meticulously, ensuring food safety, proper presentation, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including dining rooms, kitchens, and to-go stations
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale venues
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to multitask efficiently with good time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; a passion for food industry trends is valued highly
