Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, seating them, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. **Duties:** - Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and escort them to their tables. - Provide menus and suggest menu items based on guest preferences. - Take accurate food and drink orders and relay to the kitchen staff. - Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately. - Address any guest inquiries or concerns in a professional manner. - Process payments using POS systems and handle cash transactions. - Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including setting up and clearing tables. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. - Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. **Experience:** - Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred. - Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is a plus. - Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer personalities. - Proficiency in food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety guidelines. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
