In this vital role, the Clinical Instructor will:
- Teach and guide students during their clinical rotations and laboratory sessions.
- Enhance the curriculum design to ensure relevance and excellence in nursing education.
- Conduct instruction at clinical partner sites in Portland and the surrounding areas, working with groups of up to 8 students.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development in labs.

This is a part time position.
Requirements:
- Unencumbered Oregon RN license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- At least 2 years nursing experience
- Ability to engage students in active learning and critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in Medical Surgical
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guide and supervise students in their labs
- Engages students by creating and maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment
- Documents student’s attendance, participation, and post grade in accordance with college policy
- Provides timely and constructive feedback
- Support the delivery of the College mission, vision, program, and course outcomes
- Participate in curriculum evaluation and planning
- Meet in-service and professional development requirements
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to the Board of Nursing Chapter 851 Division 21 Standards for Approval: Nursing Faculty
- Other duties as assigned by the department head
