Job Type: Full Time - 36 Hour Work Week.
Job Description:
Sumner College is seeking a Clinical Partnerships Coordinator to support the growth and management of clinical education opportunities for nursing students. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare organizations, identifying and securing new clinical placement sites, coordinating onboarding requirements, and serving as a liaison between the College and clinical partners.
This position is primarily an administrative and relationship-management role. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration, business development, account management, workforce development, higher education, or a related field. Clinical research experience alone is generally not sufficient for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities and community partners.
- Identify and secure new clinical placement opportunities for nursing students.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clinical partners.
- Coordinate affiliation agreements and related documentation.
- Assist with onboarding requirements for students and faculty at clinical sites.
- Track clinical site availability, capacity, and placement needs.
- Work collaboratively with nursing leadership to support clinical placement objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to clinical partnerships.
- Conduct outreach to prospective clinical partners and represent the College at meetings and events.
- Monitor partner satisfaction and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support strategic growth initiatives related to clinical education and community partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare administration, business development, account management, recruiting, workforce development, higher education administration, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience working with contracts, agreements, or partner organizations preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
