The Admissions Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Admissions Department. The individual in this role is responsible for overseeing entrance testing for TEAS and Accuplacer exams, assisting with student appointments, panel interviews, enrollment paperwork, and supporting admissions-related events. This role requires extensive student interaction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing Oversight: Administer and oversee entrance exams including TEAS and Accuplacer, ensuring a smooth testing process for prospective students.
- Student Coordination: Assist in scheduling and following up on student appointments, coordinating panel interviews, and ensuring all enrollment paperwork is accurately processed.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing information sessions, campus tours, and other admissions-related events.
- File Management: Create and maintain student files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate. Track prospective student progress throughout the admissions process.
- Documentation: Assist in the creation and distribution of admissions documents, ensuring that all materials are current and aligned with institutional policies.
- Social Media Support: Contribute to the development of social media content that promotes the institution and supports student recruitment efforts.
- New Student Support: Provide administrative support to incoming students to ensure a smooth transition into the institution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in admissions, higher education, or as a senior-level administrative assistant is required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on student engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and student management systems.
- Experience in social media content creation is a plus.
