Salary Range:
Master's Level: $58,011 - $69,618 annually based on relevant years of experience
Master's Licensed: $66,040 - $79,217 annually based on relevant years of experience
Location: Loveland, Colorado
Status: Full Time, Salaried, 40 hours per week
Hours: Hybrid, Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-7:00pm

Role Overview:
An Access Clinician provides same day and scheduled point-of-entry services including integrated assessments, treatment recommendations, diagnosing, screening, referral, crisis intervention, and case management to all ages seeking mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment. Position may provide single sessions and brief therapy as needed. Position works closely with other clinical teams to ensure appropriate placement of new clients in the continuum of SummitStone services. Provider collaborates with community and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. At times may provide psychoeducation, and program orientation to prospective clients. Position requires strong communication and organizational skills.
The Behavioral Health Therapist provides same day and scheduled point-of-entry services, including screenings, assessments, treatment planning, brief therapy, referral, crisis intervention, and case management, to all ages seeking mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment. This position works closely with other internal and external providers to ensure appropriate placement in services and continuity of care. Position requires flexibility, independence, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Duties:
• Conduct initial integrated clinical assessments direct client care to include care coordination, behavioral health related screenings and assessments, case management, and related clinical services.
• Serves as a clinical resource person to building site(s), clinical staff, case managers, medical providers and collaterals.
• Knowledge of professional policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with other staff in providing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical services, including collaborating with Clinical Managers and Program Supervisors.
• Provide ongoing care coordination within SummitStone, community agencies and resources.
• Provide crisis intervention to include crisis assessment and de-escalation.
• Concurrent clinical documentation in electronic medical record system
• Support and foster team values with peers and clinic staff, to provide support and remove barriers.
• Learn and follow professional policies and procedures.
• Maintain superior customer service for internal and external customers by providing information and answering questions/requests in timely manner.
• May participate on committees (both internal and external), in meetings, and work on projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
NOTE: Be aware that licensure must be pursed in this role and have a willingness to engage on the LAC track.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university and registered with DORA as a Candidate working towards licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• At least one year of experience in the behavioral health field.
• At least one year of experience with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to pass the linguistic proficiency assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Substance Use Disorder Licensure (CAS or LAC)
