Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology, based in Abilene, TX. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various dermatological conditions. Responsibilities include performing skin examinations, prescribing medications, conducting minor dermatological procedures, and educating patients about preventive skincare and treatment options. Collaboration with a team of dermatology professionals to deliver high-quality care is key.

Qualifications

• Proficient in diagnosing and managing a variety of dermatological conditions
• Proven experience in performing minor dermatological procedures such as biopsy, cryotherapy, and excisions
• Strong communication and patient education skills to explain preventive measures and treatment plans
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team in a medical practice setting
• Must hold an active and unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
• Board certification in dermatology preferred
• Prior experience in a dermatology-specific clinical setting is an asset
