MEDICAL ASSISTANT NEEDED – SummitMD Dermatology | Amarillo, TX
Dermatology Medical Assistant
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour
- MUST have a Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
- No previous dermatology experience required
- Paid dermatology training provided
Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location
*Must be ok with traveling to Dumas once weekly**
SummitMD Dermatology – Amarillo, Texas
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting patient history, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Provide direct patient care during MOHS surgery.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records in electronic health systems.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and provide excellent customer service.
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following clinic standards.
- Educate patients on medication usage, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions.
