The Scheduler will function as an integrated member of the project team, supporting planning, sequencing, and schedule management for a technically complex building program.
This is not a remote support role. The expectation is strong on-site collaboration with project leadership, superintendents, and trade partners.
In addition, the Scheduler will represent us in a visible, client-facing environment and must demonstrate strong professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal judgment.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve typical senior scheduler duties on a large construction project, which are expected to include:
- Development and maintenance of the project schedule
- Coordination with project leadership, field teams, and subcontractors
- Schedule analysis, updates, and reporting
- Support for planning, sequencing, and schedule-related decision-making
- Participation in meetings where schedule impacts project outcomes
- Ongoing interaction with leadership and other stakeholders
- Professional representation in both formal and informal project settings
Candidate Profile
Whiting-Turner has specifically requested candidates with:
- Experience on large projects ($300M–$400M )
- Background in science/tech, pharma, healthcare, advanced lab, or mission-critical buildings
- Strong command of Primavera P6 (required)
- Experience working embedded with a project team
- Ability to work full-time on-site (with flexibility for travel-based candidates)
In addition, the ideal candidate will:
- Be comfortable in client-facing environments
- Communicate clearly and professionally with senior project stakeholders
- Demonstrate good judgment in both formal and informal settings
- Be capable of representing the company in work and after-work environments (e.g., team dinners, client events, industry functions)

Work Model & Travel Flexibility

- Travel and per diem are covered
- Candidate may:
