Customer Service Representative

Scope of Work

• Performs work under close supervision, following established procedures and direction.
• Relies on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to carry out daily responsibilities.
• Develops a working knowledge of company products, services, and business systems used to perform job functions.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact for callers, providing courteous, efficient, and accurate assistance.
• Demonstrates our Customer Care philosophy by putting the caller first in every interaction.
• Maintains strong dependability and accountability in daily responsibilities.
• Supports teammates by stepping in when needed and contributing to a positive team environment.
• Follows established workflows and procedures within a highly structured environment.
• Upholds professional, caring communication at all times.
• Maintains consistent and reliable attendance to ensure adequate coverage and service levels.
• Participates in rotating support for the Receptionist function, providing coverage as scheduled to ensure seamless front‑desk operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or high‑volume service environment.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs.
• A positive attitude and a caring, customer‑first mindset.
• Dependability, accountability, and a strong commitment to attendance.
  
  

Great American ’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday –Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.
