Summit is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and has additional offices in California, New Jersey, the UK, and Ireland.Overview of Role: The Office & IT Helpdesk Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring both the operational efficiency of our office environment and the seamless functioning of our IT helpdesk services at the New Jersey location. This dual-focus position is ideal for a proactive, hands-on problem solver with a strong customer service orientation, and a broad skill set spanning facilities management and technical support. The successful candidate will foster a safe, productive, and welcoming workspace while delivering responsive IT assistance to all employees.Role & Responsibilities:Office Management:Oversee daily office operations to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all staff. Coordinate minor maintenance with property management team on office equipment and building infrastructure Serve as the primary contact for external vendors and contractors, including cleaning services, building management, maintenance crews, and catering. Manage inventory of office supplies, breakroom items, and equipment; place orders and monitor stock levels to ensure availability. Manage office access control for all employees and guests.Support the development and implementation of office safety procedures and emergency action plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Organize office moves, including desk arrangements, furniture setup, and preparing workspaces for new hires.IT Help Desk Support:Provide prompt, professional Tier I & II technical support for hardware, software, network, and printer issues via multiple channels (phone, email, in-person). Set up, deploy, and troubleshoot employee workstations (laptops/desktops, monitors, docking stations) and mobile devices. Assist with installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of company-approved software applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams). Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems (including password resets and account provisioning). Maintain accurate records of support requests, asset inventory, and solutions within the IT service management system. Assist with setup and troubleshooting of conference room audiovisual equipment.All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:Experience: Minimum 2 years in facilities management, office management, IT help desk support. Preferred Associate degree and above.Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; adept at managing multiple priorities and shifting between tasks as needed. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic IT concepts, operating systems, common business applications, and computer hardware. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service. Initiative: Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.The pay range for this role is $77,000-$90,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
