About the Role:
We are a dynamic and established electrical, technology and renewable energy company seeking a strategic and hands-on financial leader to join our executive team. This is a unique and pivotal role that blends the responsibilities of a Controller, CFO, and Office Manager, offering a true seat at the leadership table. You will be the financial backbone of our operations, ensuring accounting integrity while driving strategic growth and overseeing our daily office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership & Strategy (CFO): Develop and execute financial strategies, manage capital structure, assess risk, and provide strategic insights to the CEO and Leadership Team. Lead financial forecasting, modeling, and long-range planning.
- Accounting Excellence (Controller): Oversee all accounting functions—AP/AR, payroll, GL, month/year-end close, financial reporting (GAAP), audits, and tax compliance. Utilize Sage 100 Contractor to manage job costing, WIP, and Over/Under reporting.
- Operational Management (Office Manager): Ensure a smooth-running office by managing supplies, equipment, facilities, vendor relationships, and administrative workflows.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
- 10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (Controller, Director of Finance, or similar).
- ·Must have proven experience in the construction industry.
- Expertise in Sage 100 Contractor (or similar Sage construction software) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), audit management, and strategic leadership.
