Position Summary:

The person in this role is a key leader responsible for overseeing and elevating the performance of multi-unit Great Clips salons. You are the operational driver of the business—executing the franchise vision at the salon level, developing strong teams, improving results, and ensuring every salon thrives.

Compensation & Benefits:

Required:

  • Great Clips operations experience (manager, GM, educator, or related role)
  • Active cosmetology license
  • Multi-unit leadership experience or extensive salon leadership experience
  • Preferred:
  • Familiarity with EOS/traction-style tools


Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead, Manage, and Hold Teams Accountable

  • Provide daily leadership to salon managers and assistant managers
  • Build a culture of teamwork, positivity, and high performance
  • Coach and mentor salon leaders to hit operational and people goals
  • Set clear expectations and follow through consistently

2. Drive Salon Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a pulse on all salon Key Performance Indicators (productivity, retention, etc.)
  • Conduct regular salon visits with actionable follow-up
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Identify operational issues quickly and implement solutions

3. Recruitment, Retention, and Talent Development

  • Own the recruiting pipeline: interviewing, selecting, and hiring stylists/managers
  • Foster a strong internal growth bench; develop future leaders
  • Create a motivating, supportive environment that retains top talent

4. Communication & Leadership Reporting

  • Provide daily and weekly updates to the Franchise Owner
  • Communicate expectations and best practices to teams clearly and consistently
  • Ensure alignment between the franchise vision and salon operations

5. Strategic Execution

  • Use EOS/traction-style operational tools to drive results
  • Make decisions that move the business toward its long-term goals
  • Maintain high standards for guest experience, cleanliness, and brand compliance
