Position Overview
Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking an experienced Masonry Project Manager to oversee a range of commercial and residential masonry projects throughout the Akron–Cleveland corridor. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on masonry experience, proven leadership ability, and a commitment to excellence in both craftsmanship and project execution.
This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, lead skilled field crews, and coordinate effectively with clients, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure every project meets scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage masonry construction projects from start to completion.
- Lead and supervise field crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently upheld.
- Accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Schedule and coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate daily with clients, general contractors, and internal project teams on job progress and updates.
- Conduct on-site quality inspections of masonry work, including brick, block, and stone installations.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, preparing documentation and progress reports as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to maintain project efficiency.
- Mentor and support crew members to promote professional development and team cohesion.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of masonry experience, including brick, block, and stone applications.
- 3–5 years of leadership or project management experience in the masonry trade.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, material takeoffs, and project scheduling.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Willingness to travel between job sites in the Akron and Cleveland regions as needed.
