Our expansive facility features a large indoor showroom and the area's largest RV parts store.
Summit RV is looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. As Service Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, building and managing a team of technicians and support staff, and creating a positive, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all service department operations, ensuring efficiency and quality of work.
- Manage daily service workflow, including shop duties and technician scheduling.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency within the department.
- Oversee work orders from diagnosis through quoting, repair, and final invoicing/claims.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met, identify and address any quality issues.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular service meetings to cover safety, technical updates, and team communication.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment, evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
- Implement and oversee safety procedures and protocols within the service department.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in RV service or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in high pressure situations and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience with dealership DMS systems.
