Job Description
Summit is seeking a Core Claims Project Manager (CCPM) to join our team. This position combines customer-facing communication, insurance claim coordination, detailed estimating (Xactimate), subcontractor management, and project oversight.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, estimate reviewers, and internal team members, ensuring projects are accurately scoped, efficiently executed, and delivered to a high standard of quality. Key Responsibilities
- Manage restoration projects (water, fire, & storm repairs) from assignment to close-out.
- Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, and/or in-house crews to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Perform jobsite walkthroughs and progress checks to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, photos, and communication notes.
- Provide proactive updates to customers, adjusters, and internal leadership to ensure transparency and trust.
- Write detailed, accurate estimates in Xactimate following carrier guidelines and program requirements.
- Issue production budgets and work orders based on approved estimates.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding approvals, supplements, depreciation, and job progress.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and diplomatically.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and trades.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites across Northern Virginia.
- Strong technology skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Xactimate preferred, or willingness to train.
- 1 years of experience in restoration project management, insurance repair, construction management, or similar field.
- Experience with insurance vendor programs (Alacrity, Contractor Connection, etc.)
- IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT, OCT, etc.)
- Background managing or coordinating subcontractors
