Project Manager - Restoration

Summit Restoration & Construction is looking for an experienced Small to Mid-Loss Project Manager to join our growing team. This position will oversee residential and commercial restoration/reconstruction projects from start to finish, with a primary focus on small to mid-sized losses.

We are looking for someone who is organized, responsive, customer-focused, and able to keep multiple projects moving at the same time. The right candidate understands the restoration industry, knows how to coordinate trades and schedules, and takes ownership of their projects from the initial handoff through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple small to mid-loss restoration and reconstruction projects from start to finish
• Review project scopes, estimates, budgets, and job requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project schedules
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress
• Maintain regular communication with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and internal team members
• Keep customers informed throughout the reconstruction process
• Identify and address project delays, scope changes, and other issues quickly
• Document project progress, change orders, photos, and job-related communication
• Ensure work is completed according to scope, quality standards, and applicable requirements
• Monitor job costs, budgets, and profitability
• Work closely with estimators, mitigation, accounting, and reconstruction teams
• Complete final walkthroughs and ensure outstanding items are resolved
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in company systems

Qualifications

• Previous restoration, reconstruction, construction, or insurance repair project management experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction
• Understanding of restoration and insurance-related repairs preferred
• Experience reading scopes and estimates
• Xactimate knowledge is a plus
• Strong scheduling, organization, and follow-through
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and hold projects accountable to deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel locally to job sites throughout the Phoenix metro area
