Job Summary
As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee property restoration projects from initiation to completion to ensuring they’re completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll serve as the key liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple property restoration projects simultaneously.
- Conduct regular onsite job walks to ensure quality control and compliance.
- Develop accurate project plans, budgets, and construction schedules.
- Maintain consistent communication with homeowners, property managers, and tenants.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers and manage their work.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Document all project activities in DASH and maintain up-to-date records.
- Use Company Cam for photo documentation.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, and budgets for accuracy and profitability.
- Work closely with estimators to verify scopes of work and handle supplements or change orders.
- Plan efficient job site visits and routes to maximize productivity.
- Build strong relationships with property managers and proactively seek new business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally and positively in all interactions.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong time management and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction, materials, and restoration processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction estimates and budgets.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., DASH, Company Cam).
- Collaborative mindset—works well with teams and helps others grow.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in property restoration, construction, or related fields.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to restoration and reconstruction.
- Ability to perform site visits, inspections, and occasional light lifting.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting as needed.
- Supervise in-house crews and subcontractors.
- Support and mentor assistant project managers as needed.
