What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Team Leader - 2nd Shift position at Summit Racing Equipment?
Summary: The primary purpose of this job is to lead all functions performed by the maintenance technicians, the maintenance staff, and the housekeeping staff. This position will be a working lead position which will perform all functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Prioritize and assign daily duties to all facilities employees.
- Inspection and evaluation of work performed by maintenance and housekeeping staff throughout the building and grounds on a regular basis.
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management System for assigning work orders and tracking building and equipment repairs.
- Coach, motivate, and discipline the performance and professionalism of all facilities employees.
- Record and control all daily attendance information.
- Maintain all building and construction documents and drawings.
- Coordinate assignments with vendors. Evaluate their work for quality.
- Ensure all PMI (Preventive Maintenance Instructions) are current.
- Other duties to be assigned as needed.
Education and /Or Experience: Associate Degree preferred. 5 years’ experience in factory or warehouse operations. Experience with conveyor systems or material handling equipment a plus.
Shift: Monday- Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm
