REPORTS TO: Manager, Maintenance
Summary
Maintains the buildings and grounds by performing or coordinating with vendors; maintenance, repair and installation tasks on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and fire /security systems. Supervises Maintenance Technicians.
Responsibilities And Duties
Possesses the ability to train others for routine positions and gather information as demonstrated. Mental ability to frequently handle simultaneous projects requiring concentration and attention to detail with periodic distractions due to people or telephone calls. Physical ability to occasionally transport items weighing up to 75 pounds. Periodically required to climb, stoop, bend or kneel to accommodate different working positions. Required to sit and/or stand and frequently required to walk for extended periods of time.
This position typically does require less than 5% travel.

Job Description
JOB TITLE: Supervisor, Maintenance (Manufacturing) FLSA STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Manager, Maintenance
Summary
Maintains the buildings and grounds by performing or coordinating with vendors; maintenance, repair and installation tasks on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and fire /security systems. Supervises Maintenance Technicians.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Maintain and respond timely to Service Now for various maintenance requests.
- Determine cause of equipment failure, needed repairs, and equipment/materials needed to make repair for plumbing, minor electrical, doors, etc.
- Assemble, move or repair office equipment, as necessary
- Initiate PO’s in PO system and process invoices for payment in timely manner.
- Responsible for monthly safety audit as well as inspection of exit lights, fire extinguishers and eye wash stations.
- Responsible to ensure PM’s and scheduled service calls are conducted for HVAC, cranes, backflow testing, fire extinguisher inspections, lawn sprinkler, elevator, fire suppression, etc.
- Replace lights and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain buildings interior appearance to including painting, misc cleaning, wall repair, etc.
- Gather quotes for projects to include researching vendors, initiating walk thru’s, presenting quotes for approval and scheduling.
- Flag management based on flag etiquette and guidelines
- On call, as needed, for occasional security calls when alarm is activated.
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread snow melting chemicals.
- Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare facilities for events, such as employee luncheons or meetings.
- During holiday break weekdays, when building is empty, compile and execute task list, as needed.
- Competitively bids third party custodial/janitor services or justifies and hires in-house janitor/s.
- Maintains plans for detailed custodial responsibilities
- Ensures superior quality of campus custodial services upkept through daily and weekly monitoring
- Using knowledge gained through education and experience to troubleshoot and perform problem solving solving to equipment leading to root cause corrective actions and mechanical repair.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED. Previous building maintenance experience required.

- A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 20 on the Cognitive portion).
