Under the direct supervision of the Reimbursement Manager, the Receipt Entry Specialist will be responsible for self-pay payment posting, collection agency payment posting and third-party payment posting.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our Corporate Office located in Woodbury, MN. Monday - Friday schedule of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (schedule subject to change). 100% remote work schedule once fully trained with required regular on-site meetings at our Corporate Office in Woodbury.
Primary duties:
- Follow established guidelines to post third party and patient payments into the appropriate accounts.
- Balance payment batches on a daily basis according to established protocol.
- Post NSF returned checks to accounts.
- Generate and review unallocated report and reallocate funds.
- Secondary claim generation.
- Forward accounts that need follow up by the Insurance Collector based on established protocols.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings related to patients, physicians, accounts, fellow employees and the organization.
- Provide assistance to other work teams as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Summit's hiring range for this position is $19.65 to $24.57 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
