Role Description
This position is for a full time Drafter, based in our Sparks, NV office.
The drafter will be responsible for working with our design team to create detailed shop drawings, for submittal and fabrication, using Autocad software. Neat, accurate and organized drawings. The ability to interpret architectural drawings, for the design intent, while keeping in mind industry standards and constructability. Good communication skills with the design team. Assisting in documentation for the project.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD)
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Understanding of millwork and construction industry standards
- Familiarity with materials, methods, and building codes in millwork construction
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is a plus
- Previous drafting experience in the millwork or related industry is preferred
