Summit Management Services, Inc., a national property management company, is seeking an energetic and experienced maintenance technician for an affordable apartment community in the Akron, OH market. This person’s key areas of responsibility will include general property maintenance, which includes, but is not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical tasks, and groundskeeping.
Requirements
- A minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
- Be available for occasional overtime duty/shared on-call responsibilities.
- HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be a team player.
- Will be expected to maintain high standards in all aspects of building maintenance, tenant satisfaction and resident retention.
