Position Summary:
We're seeking a driven and experienced Sr. Logistics Manager to develop carrier relationships and oversee the end-to-end transportation process. Candidates MUST have a proven track record in the 3PL industry, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for providing best-in-class customer service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a 3PL logistics, brokerage, or 3PL environment (required).
- Proven success in account management and freight brokerage.
- Strong knowledge of truckload, LTL, and multimodal transportation services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software (TMS), CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for logistics and transportation needs.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with carriers and other transportation providers.
- Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries while resolving service issues quickly and effectively.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure high service levels.
- Analyze freight spending, trends, and KPIs to deliver cost-effective solutions to clients.
- Prepare and deliver pricing proposals, presentations, and performance reports to clients.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and compliance regulations.
