O'Dwyer's Public House is seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Host and Busser to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless dining experience and feel at home during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining atmosphere.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Support the serving staff by delivering food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service.
- Uphold high standards of guest service and hospitality.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the lodge amenities.
- Support overall restaurant operations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a host/host or busser in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous hotel or lodge experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
