Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Risk Assessment and Management
- Identify and evaluate potential risks to the organization.
- Develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and reporting.
- Collaborate with departments to implement risk management practices.
- Manage all aspects of claims processing, including workers’ compensation and general liability.
- Ensure claims are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Review claims for compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Liaise with insurance providers regarding claims status and disputes.
- Generate comprehensive reports on risk management and claims data.
- Maintain documentation of all claims and risk management activities.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Present reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.
- Develop and update policies and procedures related to claims and risk management.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on risk management practices.
- Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes affecting claims management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for risk and claims inquiries.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions on risk management strategies with department heads.
- Build relationships with external partners, including insurers and legal advisors.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in risk management and claims administration.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
