Wet Lab Technician - Second ShiftUnder general supervision performs a variety of chemical and/or mechanical laboratory tests to ensure adherence to established standards. Obtains samples and performs chemical composition analyses of raw materials, panel’s in-process and chemical baths. When required, recommends corrective actions to production personnel according to well prescribed procedures and/or notifies process engineering of the problem.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the printed circuit industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required Skills: General:Understanding of industry standards and appropriate application.Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures. Responsibilities:Knowledge of all chemical analysis and wet processes.Capability to prepare and evaluate cross-section.Working knowledge of all lab equipment such as AA, Spectrometer, True-Chem Software, CMI, and Analytical Balance.Maintain all Lab equipment and area cleanliness.Competently makes all new chemical make-up, required additions, etch rates, weight gains, and also maintains all process controllers.Performs specialty test when required and is a support to processing areas.Authorities:Has the authority to stop any process that is out of specifications.
