Job Summary:The Material Handler is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate handling, movement, and storage of materials and products within the warehouse, ensuring timely flow to production.Responsibilities:Receives and unpacks all shipments from suppliers and ensures that goods received agree with what was ordered.Timely delivery of materials and products to applicable person and or department.Responsible for safe and proper storage of materials in stock room.Checks and maintains inventory.Releases laminate required by production and maintains accurate inventory on a daily basis.General cleaning duties.Miscellaneous duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor and/or Manager.Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic computations is required in counting and checking inventory received and releasing any products to the floor for production.Experience operating forklifts/pallet jacks.Occupational safety & health administration (OSHA) forklift certification is a big plusMust be able to communicate, cooperate and work effectively with othersOutstanding organizational and communication skills.Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.ITAR Compliance NoticeThis position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
