Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and service, with a focus on delivering high-quality diagnostics and maintenance for a variety of vehicles. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with both gasoline and diesel engines, as well as familiarity with automotive electrical systems.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Work on automotive electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairing wiring, sensors, and components.
  • Utilize welding skills to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
  • Document all repairs and services performed in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive repair and service, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using specialized tools and software.
  • Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting capabilities..
  • Ability to perform welding tasks for repairs or modifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
