Job Description
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system;
- Prepare food and beverages according to recipes, procedures, and customer specifications
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials;
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner;
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times;
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations;
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Clean and maintain service areas and kitchen equipment.
- Must be caring, compassionate and enjoys working with people;
- Must have a positive outlook and good problem-solving skills;
- Must maintain excellent attendance;
- Must be a team player;
- Maintains neat, professional appearance;
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Must be able to multitask well.
- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Prior Bistro experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Cash register experience or similar role is preferred.
- Marriott training.
- Open to cross train on PM Shift is available.
- 14.00/hr. plus Tips – Full-time (5 days/week) with no schedule limitations.
- Paid training provided
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts when business demands.
- Work requires standing for extended periods
- Flexibility is a must – hospitality never sleeps!
- All requests are considered but during peak season we require all hands-on deck.
Other Work Requirements:
- Standing and walking much of the time.
- Be able to reach, bend, and stoop.
- Ability to push/pull 25 pounds.
- Ability work under pressure.
- Ability think critically and quickly on your feet.
