Production Associate - Opening (No Experience Required)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Summit Golf Brands (SGB), located 30 quick miles from Madison, WI, is seeking a Full-Time Production Associate - Opening. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Associate - Opening, under the direction of the VP of Production, plays a key role in preparing garments for embroidery and downstream production. This position is responsible for opening incoming product, prepping and organizing orders for embroidery.

The Production Associate serves as a representative of Summit Golf Brands, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of SGB. No experience is necessary; we are willing to train!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Individual must possess these skills and abilities, or explain that he/she can perform the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some combination of skills and abilities.

• Open and organize incoming garments for production.

• Prep and stage orders for embroidery, ensuring accuracy of quantities, styles, sizes, and branding requirements.

• Use scanning systems to track garments throughout the production process.

• Perform visual checks of logos for excess thread strings and trim as necessary.

• Remove hoop ring marks using hand-held steamers and/or hand irons.

• Return garments that have been embroidered to their original state of packaging prior to shipment.

• Replace company tissue (printed side up) into garments prior to refolding.

• Refold garments following original fold lines using fold size specifications.

• Replace garment clips, collar stays, and other components as needed for each garment style.

• Move finished garments to carts or designated receptacles for return to the packing area for shipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all production procedures.

• Additional duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Required to use wrists, upper arms, and shoulders in repetitive movements.

• Required to bend, twist, and reach continuously.
