The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced cook to work with a highly motivated and energetic kitchen staff in our Superior, WI, location for our corrections division. What you'll be doing:

• Quality and portion control
• Food preparation
• Creative food presentation
• Maintaining kitchen
• Ensuring food is stored properly
• Following safe food handling policies, procedures and recipes

What You’ll Do

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and security procedures
• Work alongside kitchen staff, correctional staff and inmate workers
• Learn new skills with the potential to grow into leadership roles
• Strong organizational skills to keep the kitchen area clean and orderly

Compensation Range

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

$500 Sign-On Bonus payable after 180 days
