TREASURER, Springfield Local School
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exemplifies contemporary/visionary knowledge of school finance, collective bargaining, forecasting and legislation impacting district funding
- Thorough understanding of public school operations, finance systems, and the unique fiscal responsibilities associated with educational institutions
- Proven record of conservative and fiscally responsible financial management, with a strong commitment to stewardship of districts resources
- Experience with school levy campaigns, bond issues, and advocacy for public school funding at the local and state levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, initiate, follow through on multiple complex tasks and deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively and constructively with staff, community members, businesses, government entities, and other district stakeholders
- Effective communicator who demonstrates user-friendly, professional, and transparent communication with diverse audiences
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement in all matters
- Ability to navigate conflict, make difficult decisions when necessary, and remain composed, patient, resilient under pressure
